Nature and my surroundings are the main source of inspiration for my paintings. The results of these paintings are very diverse because some of them were made to order.

My paintings on canvas and on glass are sophisticated both through realistic design and use of colour.

Combining a painting with a glass dish painted in the same theme makes my work something unique.

My creations come about through a special idiosyncratic way of painting, which can only be discovered by coming to see for yourself.

A unique piece of art

A painting, a glass object or both with your chosen theme.

Following the wishes, a design is made.

After approval of this, I get to work.

Prices depend on the size of the painting and the size and shape of the scale.

A 50% deposit is always required at the start of orders.

A selection of my paintings and glass bowls are for sale. See Gallery.

Operating procedure

Making the glass bowls in 3 steps.

  1. Painting.
The design is painted on a flat glass plate. When completely dry, the glass plate is fired in the oven.

  2. Fusing
A 2nd glass plate is placed on top of the painted glass side. At a temperature of ± 850°C, these 2 glass sheets melt together to a thickness of about 6 mm.

  3. Slumping
After fusing, the glass is placed in a mould, in the oven at a temperature of ± 680°C, and the glass slowly sinks into the mould.

After each firing, the furnace cools down to ambient temperature.
